A Bed for Sam

From Sam’s Dad -

Sam’s journey started in 2018 when he was 9 months old.  We noticed one day that his eyes were shaking uncontrollably and made an appointment.  We ended up at the pediatric ophthalmologist office and he was diagnosed with rotary nystagmus originally with a precautionary MRI scheduled to see if there was anything causing it.  Later that week we got the scan and that was when we found the mass.

He has an optic pathway glioma and is currently on his third chemotherapy treatment, the first two different ones showed growth.  He has been going through treatment for about 8 months and we have seen some pretty good progress.  So far we have gotten 1.5 cm of shrinkage and are praying for more good news this month.

Little Sam outgrew his crib and toddler bed and really wanted a big boy bed. We were able to provide him with a brand new race car bed with a new mattress. Look at that smile! We are able to provide smiles like the one Sam is wearing because of the generosity of our donors and followers.
